The aim of the architecture we chose for the new chemist’s shop in the town of Chiari was to be open to the town and the neighbouring hospital. The main traffic areas are entirely lined with glass, creating transparency between the inside of the building and the outdoors. These surfaces are enclosed by wooden walls and structures, and interspersed with vertical green walls that hide the chemist’s shop mechanical distribution systems. The result is a new chemist’s concept with spaces that are “closer” to the user, and that we obtained through an architectural design based on the person who uses it.
